Tuesdays training - Shihonage

I was not in the training for a week. Missed it a lot.

The tatami zone was extremly crowded again. The beginner girls were participating again. There were 5 of them!

Daniel sensei took the lead, supported by Romolo and Markus. Pascale (dan as well) was there too, but took no lead in the training.

Main focus on Shihonage today. Daniel cam back from a stage again and had many interesting points to show on this specific technique.

For the first time, he showed us why exactly this technique is called the 4-way-throw. Quite impressive. At the end, i've performed it with pascale. He's really a cool guy. And he has a lot of additional tipps, since he learned aikido in another school. I'm always learning a lot while training with him.

At the end, we trained the big ukemis. It was the first time for me and it was hard, even when we used the big and soft extra tatami. I still got problems in placing my legs in the correct order when falling down. I think this will take me a couple more trainings until I get that.

Not that relaxed afterwards today since performing shihonage the whole training hurts a bit in the back and it was really a though training session today.

Yours,

Lemy
